Despite having a population of less than 1000, Monte San Martino has three churches (two in the town itself and one in the hamlet of San Venanzo) as well as an abbey. One of the great joys of being here is the wonderful choir that sings at Mass. As well as singing in church, they join together with the town choir to sing a variety of music.
