I took a confirmed booknig this morning for 6 August and half an hour later received an email requesting the same week (and the week before). The lady who made that enquiry said she doesn't usually book this early but was really surprised at how many places are already booked. I've also spoken to a couple of villa rental companies this week and they both tell me they are receiving record levels of calls and emails. So it looks like people are feeling more confident about booking their holidays than they have been for the last couple of years.

So anybody who is thinking of a villa holiday is definitely advised to look into it as soon as possible,
