Our Easter journey to il Melo - preparing

Today is supposed to be the day for getting everything sorted and packed for an early (6AM) start on Wednesday but we have both been hit with heavy colds and really don't feel up to it and a 1300 mile drive. So we decide to move our ferry booking back from Wednesday lunchtime to early Thursday meaning we'll arrive a day later but in one piece. We do a few things like taking Charlie the Labrador to the kennels and putting on the top box and getting most of what we are taking down to the hall ready for loading. As well as clothes and so on for us, there are toys and books for the house and a few other bits and bobs we have bought. A friend who comes round can’t believe how much stuff there is but we know it will fit in with a bit of space to spare
